Location was perfect for exploring beautiful footpaths and close to Scafell. the cottage was impeccably clean and well-stocked with logs and essential items such as foil and dishwasher tablets.

We stayed at this lovely cottage for a week and it was perfect for our hiking trip to Scafell. The location was excellent, with footpaths right from our doorstep. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, and we appreciated the little things like logs for the fire and kitchen supplies like foil and dishwasher tablets. The kitchen was spacious and the overall atmosphere of the cottage was pleasant and had its own unique character. It was a great escape from city life.

    100% Recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming cottage in a peaceful location. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The cottage itself was clean and had a lovely character. We particularly enjoyed the walks that were accessible right from our doorstep. It was also a relatively short distance to Scafell, which was a bonus. we were satisfied with our stay and would recommend it to others.

Yew Tree Cottage had free WiFi, a garden, and it was great to engage in activities like golfing , cycling, and fishing. The nearest airport, Isle of Man, was just delightful.

I think I've finally found a mattress made out of solid rock, and oh, the fireplace smelled just like a burning inferno. How charming!

The location was perfect for me as there were plenty of footpaths right from the doorstep. It was also convenient to reach Scafell. The cottage was spotlessly clean, which was a major plus. I loved the fact that little things like logs and household essentials were already provided, such as foil and dishwasher tablets. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. the cottage had a pleasant and unique character that added to the enjoyable stay.

    Nothings.

The location of the cottage was ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. With plenty of footpaths right at the doorstep and not far from Scafell, it offered a great opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts. the cottage was spotlessly clean and provided all the necessary amenities such as logs for the fireplace and even small items like foil and dishwasher tablets.

That there were no pubs within a realistic walking distance. Although it was mentioned in the details, the lack of pavements on the lanes made it inconvenient to walk back at night.

And if you're a fan of hiking, you'll be jaw-dropped by how close you are to Scafell. The cottage is spotlessly clean, which is always a delight, and the kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need. The little touches like having logs and all those essentials in the drawers are just fantastic. If you're looking to escape the chaos of city life, this place is a hidden gem. There's even free parking available and the wi-fi is reliable for all you tech-savvy travelers. Plus, if you're into cycling, fishing, or want to hit up a golf course nearby, you're covered!
